Building BricksPeople make bricks from the top layer of the earth. This layer is known as the top soil gives the land its fertility and contains all the soil's minerals required for crop cultivation. Unknown to the population, removing the top soil strips the soil of its fertility. As a result, their fields no longer produce much food. Desperate for food, they are forced to buy commercial fertilizers to partially replenish the soil in order to farm. Unfortunately, this fertilizer is expensive and uses up most of their profit after cultivation. |
